Install the Xsyte Skill for Claude

If you use Claude (Anthropic's AI assistant), you can install our official xsyte skill — a set of instructions that teaches Claude the xsyte platform rules automatically. With the skill installed, you don't need to paste the AI Rules Reference each time; Claude already knows how to build custom pages, wire forms, and avoid the common pitfalls.

What you need

• The Claude desktop app (with Cowork) or Claude Code. Plugins are installed once and stay available in every conversation.

Install

In Claude Code (or the Claude desktop app's plugin settings), run these two commands:

/plugin marketplace add thocutt1020/xsyte-plugins
/plugin install xsyte-platform@xsyte-plugins

That's it. The skill activates automatically whenever you ask Claude to build a custom page, signup form, waiver, sponsor page, or any other data-capture page for your Syte.

What the skill knows

• How to wire forms to the xsyte forms system (form IDs, page IDs, spam protection)
• The safe way to build form fields so they never damage the page editor
• Thank-you states that appear after someone submits
• Full-page takeover layouts and how to match your Syte's branding
• Ready-made templates for sponsor interest, event signup, mailing list, contact, and RSVP forms

Try it

After installing, ask Claude something like:

"Build a mailing list signup page for my league's Syte. Our brand colors are navy and silver. The form_id is 3 and the page_id is 21, with fields firstname, lastname, and email."

Then paste the result into your page via Tools > Source code and click Validate Content — see Build Custom Pages with AI for the full workflow.

/plugin marketplace update xsyte-plugins
