• Can I add a PDF to my news?

   Yes, you can upload your PDF to your XSYTE using Communications > Image & File Manager. When you are adding your news with Communications > News, you can select your uploaded PDF from the Add Quick Content PDF dropdown box and click the Add PDF button. A download link will be added and a viewable PDF container will be produced allowing people to browse the PDF right in the news article!

• Can I make my news "Sticky"?

  Yes, you can set your news as "Featured" which will make it rank at the top before and "Normal" articles. Once you set a news article to "Featured" it will "stick" to the top of your News, unless a newer Featured article is created. When you are ready to have your news item not be sticky anymore, you can set it to "Normal" or "Archived".

• Can I email my news to my members?

  Yes, you can! Using the Emailer, you can easily add news articles to an email and bulk email it to your member base in minutes. Just create an Email using Communications > Emailer and using the Quick Add, select your News article and click the Add News button. This will automatically add the news to your email. You can add one article or many! Then you can send to your whole membership base, or certain groups, leagues or teams in minutes.

• Can I have the news I create, automatically post to Facebook or Twitter so I dont have to rewrite everything on all the social media I manage?

  Yes, you can auto-post news to your facebook pages and twitter accounts. Set up your Facebook and Twitter accounts using Communications > Social Networks. Once you give your XSYTE the permissions it needs to post on your behalf, it's easy to autopost to Facebook and Twitter. When you create a news article, there will be a checkbox you can check and uncheck: "Autopost to Facebook?". When that is checked, your news will be formatted and posted to facebook. The same principle applies for twitter. Note that you can only post to facebook Pages you manage, you can't post to groups.

• Can I add images to news?

  Yes!  You can add .jpg, .gif or .png files quickly and easily.  Be sure your images are not over 1MB. You can add them either from a URL or from images you have on your computer. Check out this Quick Demo on how to add Images to your News.

• Is there a way to tag news so that it shows up on relevant games, player pages, season pages, or team pages?

  Not at this time, but that functionality is in the works and will be available soon.
