We are excited to announce that XSYTE now supports two new payment methods: Stripe BECS Direct Debit and Afterpay. Credit Card and Debit Card Online Payments

Australian Direct Debit (BECS)

Offline Credit Card Payments

How to Set Up your Payment Methods

You can select which payment Methods are available with your store in the Store Settings Section in Store Setup. 

How to enable AfterPay and/or Australian Direct Bank Transfer BECS with Stripe

We've made it simple for you to activate these new payment options. Just follow the steps below:

Step 1: Log In to Your Stripe Account

1. Visit Stripe Login and sign in with your credentials.
2. Navigate to Settings (found in the lower-left corner).
3. Under Payment methods, click on Payment methods.
4. Locate BECS Direct Debit and Afterpay in the list of available payment methods.
5. Click Enable next to each method you wish to activate.

Note: If prompted, complete any additional verification steps required by Stripe to enable these payment methods.

Step 2: Update Your XSYTE Store Settings

1. Log in to your XSYTE admin dashboard.
2. Go to Store Setup > Payment Options.
3. You should see Australia BECS Direct Bank Transfer and Afterpay listed among the payment methods.
4. Toggle the switch to Enable each payment method you've activated in Stripe.
5. If you enable Australia BECS Direct Bank Transfer, be sure to disable Direct Bank Transfer to avoid confusion for your customers.
6. Click Save to apply the changes.

How to Limit Payment Methods for Products

Imagine you have your Stripe account connected and can accept credit cards online and you also accept Direct Bank Transfer payments so you can avoid fees for large cost items such as Team Fees.  On high-selling, low-cost items such as player registration the overhead of manually verified Direct Bank Transfer payments can be too much and you may want to limit these items to only accept credit cards so payments and processing are automatic.  On the low-selling, high-cost product such as a Season Team payment, you can leave the Direct Bank Transfer as an option so people can avoid transaction fees on the big-ticket item.

You can limit the payment methods available per product on the Product Edit Page under the Shipping and Tax Tab. 

Stripe Account Fees

When you connect your Stripe Account to your XSYTE you can instantly start accepting credit card and debit card payments online with very competitive low fees compared to other online providers such as Paypal and Square.

International Cards	3.5% + $.30 + .85% XSYTE surcharge
AfterPay	6% + $.30 + .85% XSYTE surcharge
Australia BECS Direct Bank Transfer	.25% capped at $5 + .25% capped at $5 XSYTE surcharge

The XSYTE surcharges can be lower for high-volume sellers with an XSYTE subscription.
