Overview
Pickup Player Pools now include advanced reliability and engagement metrics to help organizers make smarter invite decisions and maintain strong weekly turnouts.
These stats are pool-specific and apply only within the specific Pool.
They are not cumulative across your entire organization.
Player Metrics Explained
Risk Score
Risk Score highlights reliability concerns within a Pool.
It is influenced by:
Verified No-Shows
Late Cancellations (inside the configured late cancellation window)
Higher Risk Score = higher recent reliability risk.
Organizers can manually mark and unmark No-Shows to ensure accurate tracking.
Engagement Score
Engagement Score measures how consistently and quickly a player responds to invites.
It considers:
Response rate
Average response speed
Flip-flops (Yes → No changes)
Overall participation patterns
Higher Engagement Score = more reliable, responsive player.
No Response Streak
Indicates how many invites a player has ignored consecutively.
This helps identify players who may no longer be active or engaged.
Late Cancellations
A Late Cancellation is automatically detected when a player changes from:
Yes → No within the configured Late Cancellation Threshold window before game time.
The threshold (in hours) is configurable in Division Settings.
Cooldown System
The Cooldown system prevents unreliable players from immediately being re-invited.
When a cooldown is applied:
The player remains in the Pool.
They are temporarily excluded from active invite waves.
They become eligible again after the configured cooldown period expires.
Cooldown duration is set in Division Pickup Rules.
Player Self-Control (My Account → Player Pools)
Players can now manage their own Pool status:
Active – Eligible for invites
Paused – Temporarily not interested in invites
Cooldown – Temporarily restricted (system-applied)
Inactive – Fully removed from invite rotation
Players can also set a Default Auto Response:
Auto Yes
Auto No
None (manual response required)
This allows players who consistently respond the same way to avoid replying to every invite email.
Modifying Pickup Base Rules
Pickup Rules are configured at the Division level.
Key configurable settings include:
Late Cancellation Threshold (hours before game start)
Cooldown Days
Target Number of Players
Target Number of Goalies
