You can import your entire schedules at once using the Bulk Upload System.
Use our ready-made spreadsheet to make this process super easy.
Procedure
- Log in to your xsyte, and go to the admin area by clicking the Admin link
- Go to League > Games
- Select Bulk Import Games
- Copy and paste your formatted spreadsheet data (do not include headers)
- Click Submit Bulk Games Data
The format is:
Season Code, Home Team Code, Away Team Code, Date, Time, Game Type Code, Location Code, Comment, Round
Fields in Black are mandatory. Each game should be entered on a new line.
Your text will look something like:
Note: When you paste your spreadsheet content into XSYTE the Commas may be represented by Tabs. That is OK! XSYTE will automatically convert tabs to commas.

Information about Each Field
Season Code - Find the number associated with your season - it will be listed on the Bulk Upload Page.
Home Team Code - Long Team Name, Short Team Name or Abbreviation is accepted. Check Spelling is the same on your spreadsheet and in the system. Use TBD if you do not know the team that will be playing in the game.
Away Team Code - Long Team Name, Short Team Name or Abbreviation is accepted. Check Spelling is the same on your spreadsheet and in the system. Use TBD if you do not know the team that will be playing in the game. Leave Blank if there is no away team required.
Date (optional) - This must be in the proper format 2017-11-29
Time (optional) - This must be in the proper format 18:30:00
Game Type Code - Use the Game Types Box located in the Bulk Import page to find available game types. Example: ‘RS’ for ‘Regular Season’, ‘GF’ for ‘Grand Final’, ‘BY’ for ‘Bye’ etc.
Location Code (optional) - When you set up a Venue and Game Locations for the venue, those locations ids are listed on the Bulk Import page. Use the appropriate code in this field.
Comment (optional) - Use this to describe anything about the game.
Round (optional) - Use this to set which round this game is a part of.
Creating the Data
Use our ready-made spreadsheet to make this process super easy.
- Populate this spreadsheet
- Use the data on the Bulk Upload Page to Fill out the Blue Fields.
- Copy all the data from the spreadsheet, but do not include the headers.
- Paste into the Bulk Games Data Box.
- Click the Submit Bulk Games Data Button
- Read the Report! It will tell you what processed successfully and if there were any errors.
Materials & Resources
Use this google spreadsheet to create your Bulk Upload Code block. Fill in the spreadsheet and then save as .csv file. Copy the contents of the file, paste in the Bulk Add Players form, and click Submit Bulk Player data.
