The default standings method sorts your teams by
Points : Most number of points earned
Games Played : Least Games Played
Goal Differential : Scores for minus scores against in all games
Number of Wins : In all games
In some competitions tie-breaker scenarios are quite involved and cannot be easily done programatically. In these cases it would be great if you could just simply order the standings manually.
With XSYTE you can do this with the Standings Override feature.
This feature allows you to manually set the order of the standings table when you need to.
So in tie-breaking cases you should set the standings manually.
To do this, go into the team page for each team in the table.
To do this, go into the team page for each team in the table.
Set the Standings Override field with a number.
You would set the First place team Standings Override field to: 1
Second Place: 2
Third Place: 3
Other non-tied team: 10
Other non-tied team: 10
Other non-tied team: 10
Be sure to set a number for each team in the standings table.
You can set a higher number for teams that aren't affected by the tie and they will just sort on usual rules.

You can see the Standings override field for the Blue Team here is set to 20.
The Orange Team has theirs set to 10.
The Red Team is set to 5.
Green is set to 25.
In the Standings table:
